Sad Video: 20-year old Allegedly Electrocuted After Failed Attempted Theft

A young man in his twenties has allegedly been electrocuted after attempting to steal from a shop.  The incident, which happened in a town called Fiapre in Bono Region involved a young man called Frinpong, believed to be 20-years old.  According to the correspondent William Arthur who spoke to UTV, the incident happened in a shop where rewinding of fans and other electrical appliances are done. The correspondent indicated that the incident is believed to have happened the previous night because residents in the area noticed a hand outside the door of the shop which was locked, and found the body of the deceased after slightly pushing the door open. It is alleged that the boy may have attempted to steal from the shop by pulling the bottom side of the locked gate open, only to get electrocuted.  The video shared by UTV showed a crowd gathered at the scene while waiting for the Police to arrive and take the necessary action.  Watch the video below and share your views w...

The Gory Accident that Claimed the Lives of Saboba District Officials

Two Saboba District Assembly officials, the District Coordinating Director, Zakariah Abdulai, and the Internal Auditor, Bakari Gan, were killed in a car accident while going from Tamale to Saboba on official business on the Tamale-Yendi road in the Northern Region.  According to the information gathered so far, the vehicle in which they were traveling in collided with an incoming car. The collision occurred on Monday, August 14, in the afternoon. According to Mohammed Fugu of Graphic Online, the District Chief Executive, George Bingrini revealed that the deceased's bodies have been carried to their hometowns of Damongo and Bole for burial in accordance with Islamic custom.  Meanwhile, images from the scene shows a completely mangled  pick-up truck believed to the one in which the officers were traveling. Road accidents  have been on the rise in recent months, with many high profile politicians  being among some of the casualties.
