Institute Disciplinary Proceedings against Attorney General: Assin North MP
Member of Parliament for Assin North Constituency, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson has petitioned the General Legal Council to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Godfrey Yeboah Dame for what he described as professional misconduct. The MP is facing criminal charges in relation to his 2020 election candidacy and subsequent winning. Even though the case is still in court, the AG has in series of interviews concluded that the MP will be jailed, and has consequently requested that the case be heard on a daily basis.
