Founder of Russian Private Military Company, Yevgeny Prigozhin is reported to have died along with other crew members on a plane that crashed today. According to RT News, a  private jet traveling from Moscow to St. Petersburg crashed on Wednesday in Russia’s Tver Region. The Russian Emergencies Ministry said all 10 people on board had died. Rosaviation has since said that Evgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner Private Military Company, was listed among the passengers. The outlet further reported that the crash happened near the village of Kuzhenkino in the northwestern Tver Region. Some Russian outlets have identified the plane as an Embraer Legacy 600, with the tail number RA-02795, which is believed to belong to Prigozhin. A Ghanaian soldier has reportedly killed himself by accident. The incident was announced in a press release by the Department of Public Relations of the Ghana Armed Forces signed by Brigadier General E Aggrey-Quashie, Director General of Public Relations on 19th August, 2023. According to the release, the Soldier, Private (Pte)  Bayou Roger, member of the 5th Infantry Battalion died as a result of a suspected "accidental discharge." The statement revealed that the incident occurred on Saturday, 19th August, 2023 while the soldier was performing duties at the Base Ammunition Depot Near Michel Camp. "Preliminary investigative report indicates the soldier was seen sitting on his bed, waiting to relieve his colleague at a duty post at 0800 hours when his rifle went off hitting him under his chin;killing him instantly.
