Sad News: Former MP for Kpandai Constituency has Passed Away

Former Member of Parliament for Kpandai Constituency, Hon. Kojo Tawiah Likpalimor has sadly passed away. 


His death, which is believed to have happened in the early hours of Tuesday, September 19, 2023 was announced by the Constituency General Secretary, Mr. Nyong Sapaku Robert after being informed by the family. 

The late Likpalimor served as a member of parliament and a minister of state, representing the people of Kpandai from 1992 to 2012. 

The cause of his death and illness before his passing has not been revealed yet, however he is said to have died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

Management of the Kwame Knrumah University of Science and Technology have announced the establishment of KNUST Day of Giving to raise funds for the construction of an ultramodern 2,000-bed capacity hall of residence for students.  The official day set for the 24hour global online fundraising of the KNUST Day of Giving has been slated for Friday, 6th October, 2023 after the Chancellor earlier officially launched the initiative.
